Matching the right cleaner for each client is both a skill and a process; much like selecting a babysitter or doctor! If you aren’t satisfied with your cleaner for any reason, not to worry- we are happy to send you a different cleaner on your next appointment. We want our clients to develop a relationship and rapport with their cleaner(s). Once you are satisfied with your cleaner, we will try to send the same cleaner to each of your reoccurring appointments.
Yes, absolutely! We will try our best to send you the same cleaner, if requested. However, depending on the requested cleaner’s appointment schedule and availability, we may need flexibility on your side to ensure the same cleaner can return. If you set up recurring appointments in advance (same day of the week, same time of day), we will do our best to book the same cleaner on all your appointments.
Tipping & Gratuity (i.e. can I add tip to my bill?) Homejoy never requires tipping, but it is a powerful way to say thank you to your cleaner. Remember your appreciation need not be monetary. A personal note from you expressing your appreciation for their service can mean a great deal. You can give cash directly to your cleaner on the day of the appointment. If you’d like to add a tip to your bill, just send us an email at email@example.com within 24 hours of your appointment and let us know how much you’d like to add. Most of our clients are comfortable giving a 20% tip for a great cleaning.
